DIRECTIONS TO THE MUSEUM

The Cambodia Land Mine Museum & Relief Facility has now officially replaced the original Land Mine Museum once located in Siem Reap. The new facility had its grand opening on the 21st of April in 2007 and was built and developed to expand the relief initiatives of the original museum’s vision.

The facility is supported and operates under the Cambodia Land Mine Museum Relief Fund (NGO-CANADA). The new relief center includes an expanded museum that now displays the original exhibits from the museum, a school, a dormitory residence for up to 30 amputee children, a dormitory for 10 amputee staff who work and sustain the implementation of the NGO’s mandate. The space also includes a new kitchen facility and dining area as well as toilet and shower facilities for all residents.

The new facility is located 6 km south of Banteay Srey Temple on the main road leading from Siem Reap. It is located on the right hand side of the road if you are traveling north towards the temple. Admission to the museum is a donation of $1. All contributions to the NGO are utilized for the facility’s sustainable relief programs and humanitarian outreach.
