INTERNATIONAL SUPPORTERS OF THE CLMMRF
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE PAUL MARTIN
PRIME MINISTER OF CANADA
On behalf of the CLMMRF’s Canadian Board of Directors and all the members of
the Landmine Museum family, we wish to extend our deepest gratitude to The
Honorable Prime Minister of Canada, Paul Martin. His personal involvement
during the developmental stages of this project has brought value and
integrity to our mission. The Prime Minister’s support and endorsement of
the CLMMRF is greatly appreciated by each and every member of our
organization.
HER EXCELLENCY DONICA POTTIE
CANADIAN AMBASSADOR TO CAMBODIA
Her Excellency Donica Pottie, Canadian Ambassador to Cambodia, has been an
integral part of the CLMMRF’s developmental process in Cambodia. Ambassador
Pottie’s commitment and enthusiasm for this project is unparalleled. Her
support and dedication has helped the CLMMRF to gain international support
for our project. She has brought hope and opportunity to each of the rescued
children living under the protection of the CLMMRF. We wish to thank
Ambassador Pottie from the bottom of our hearts for her assistance.
MR. TOM SHADYAC (USA)
The Landmine Museum NGO facility would not exist without the financial
support of Los Angeles-based writer and director, Tom Shadyac (Bruce
Almighty, Liar Liar, The Nutty Professor, Ace Ventura). Tom first learned
about the Landmine Museum in 2003 during the screening of a documentary film
presented by the CLMMRF at the Telluride Mountain Film Festival in Colorado,
USA. He has been a dedicated donor and moral supporter of the CLMMRF ever
since. We owe him debt of gratitude beyond measure for his support…We love
you TOM!
PROFESSOR JULIE ROGERS & STUDENTS
OF TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY’S
COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE
The Landmine Museum relief facility was created by the dedicated students at
Texas A&M University’s College of Architecture under the leadership of
Professor Julie Rogers. Professor Rogers has played an important role in the
success of this project. Over the last 3 years Rogers and her team of
students worked consistently to produce several phases of technical drawings
and digital renderings to help provide a base of operations for the CLMMRF
NGO. The Texas A&M team also contributed to the success of this development
venture by organizing fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns while
gaining diplomatic support in the United States from the US State Department
and the USA Embassy in Cambodia.
