At the Landmine Museum, we work very hard to tell the story of landmines -vthrough Aki Ra’s story, and through the story of those who live and work here. We are adding a new building to help us with that. The building will house a new theater, a small gift shop with items produced locally and a new display room.
The new display room will house Living With Landmines, a photo exhibit by award winning Canadian photographer Tony Hauser. It tells the story of over a dozen kids, landmine victims all, who found a new beginning at the Landmine Museum after their encounters with landmines.
The Museum is more than just history. It’s very existence
Clears landmines
Provides for dozens of at-risk kids in its care
Builds schools where non are available now
NONE OF THIS DONE ALONE
